The somewhat problematic Windows 10 Anniversary Update started rolling out August 2 but not all users have received it yet. Microsoft announced in their email blast:
“The Anniversary Update will download and install via Windows Update. The download is automatically available to you. It will begin rolling out on 2 August 2016 and may take up to 3 months to reach all users. Internet access fees may apply.”
:We have already seen some issues on certain computers with the Windows 10 Anniversary Update. The big problem is if you really want the update there is not a location to download it, you have to wait for it to arrive in Windows Update. We posted about a specific problem last month with webcams failing after the update.
If you would like to read more about the 3 month rollout of Windows 10 Anniversary Update there is an excellent article on ZDNet.
