We just installed the new Windows 10 Pro version 1903 (May 2019 Update). It still contains several Universal Platform applications, otherwise known as bloatware or junk. We started from a fresh install, wiping the entire hard drive out and there is no way to get around some level of bloatware installed on your computer with the new version.
The new version of Windows 10 improves the Start Menu and has a slightly clearer look to it. We were able to uninstall the bloatware within 5 minutes and it does appear to be less bloatware than in previous updates of Windows 10.
Microsoft has been criticized heavily for pushing bloatware directly on to Windows 10 computers in the last few years. They pushed Candy Crush Saga, Netflix and Seeker’s Notes on unsuspecting Windows 10 users in the past.
